I never thought that at 29 I’d realize how much great it feels to wear a tutu. Most people write them off as childish fashion, but when Society+ introduced their tutus, I was among the very many who needed to own one. Of course, I gravitated immediately towards yellow and even worked it into a big Youtube lookbook collab that just a few months ago.
I’ve got a really big, overwhelming thing for pastels right now. I guess you could always say that I’ve been a little obsessed with baby colours but lately, I’ve just been wild about them. Nothing puts a smile on my face faster than spotting something pastel coloured. I’ll even go as far as buying erasers or bringing home paint sample cards because the colours just make me so darn happy. There’s something to be said for colour therapy and I truly believe they can make or break your mood.
If you watched my most recent Youtube video, you’ll see that I mentioned my love of going braless these days. Because of that, I have rediscovered my love for a dress that I damn near almost gave away!
Do you ever just find the most perfect garment for you? One that literally could not be more fitting to your personal style and attitude? Well, I found said dress in my first ever Gwynnie Bee package and I just about lost it.
I’ve been blogging for 5 years but seldom do I have anyone take my photos. When the absolutely gorgeous Cindy
came to visit me in Boston, she asked me to be her model and I couldn’t have said yes faster. Cindy’s photography is unreal, she’s one of the most talented photographers that I know. I was and still am incredibly honoured that she made me her model for a day. These photos came out beautifully, don’t you think? You can hardly tell I’m freezing my butt off!
