Some may call me crazy for wearing this outfit out in -6c weather but I’ve always lived by my own rules. I’ve also never been one to shy away from a fashionable outfit just because its a little breezy outside. Quite frankly, all I need is a warm and cozy sweater to keep me toasty enough to withstand the worst of it. Case and point, my freakin’ adorable, pink sweater from Tobi. I have been L-I-V-I-N-G in in since the moment I tried on it!!
Whether you’ve still got some Christmas parties to attend, or you’re just dragging out Christmas like me, I’ve got you covered. Dressing up for the holidays happens to be one of my favourite things, which is why I prolong the whole experience. I’ve compiled a list of my some last minute holiday looks for you. Some dressed up, some dressed down!
Sweater Dress / Glitter Heels / Red Earrings / Tights
Who doesn’t love a good sweater dress? They’re perfect for almost every chilly occasion! I’m swooning over this deep blue mock neck sweater dress, which would look stunning paired with some silver glitter heels and red earrings. Pair it with some red lipstick and you have yourself a perfect late-Christmas look. Dare I say even a potential New Year’s Eve dress too?
Whoa, can you believe the big day is just around the corner? I, for one, am still rushing around to get everything I’ll need for Christmas but I welcome the stress. Shopping for Christmas is one of my FAVOURITE things but lets also be real, receiving ain’t so bad either. I’m lucky to already get so many things my heart desires throughout the year, but I’d be a liar if I didn’t say I’m lusting after a few things this year. Since I haven’t done this in awhile, I thought I’d compile a list of things I want for Christmas. Be warned, this isn’t entirely focused on fashion!
The Last Holiday
Word on the street is that Santa already has this in his bag for me (aka I already bought it for myself). I haven’t seen this film in YEARS but I remember loving it so much when I did. First off, it has Queen Latifah, so how could you possibly go wrong? On top of that, most of it takes in Prague, which evidently is gorgeous. There’s an incredible cast, its really funny and I just have a major fondness for it. Now if only Santa would hurry up and deliver my package before I leave for Boston tomorrow..
Do you remember this blouse from my ELOQUII haul last month? If not, go watch it now for my thoughts on the fit, quality and more! Now that we’re having frigid weather again, I can finally wear it out!
Yesterday, we had our first official snowfall and I’m elated. I love this time of year, or at least until December 25th, that is. The first snow is always so magical and I genuinely look forward to it every year. However, I don’t always look forward to the necessary change in footwear. To be entirely honest, I dread my lack of my options when it comes to plus size friendly boots. Much like winter coats, boots have started to catch up with fashion trends and needs. They aren’t those drab, ugly (but lets face it, warm) boots from your childhood anymore. They’re actually stylish and wearable! So, I figured I’d round up some of the pairs I’ve been lusting after. Prepare yourself, because I promise you, these boots ARE made for walking (I had to)!
Brown Knee High Boots / Sweater Knit Boots / Genuine Suede Knee High Boot
Torrid: Could I really make a list of plus size friendly boots without mentioning Torrid? They’re usual my go-to plus size friendly boots. I just know I’m going to walk (hehe) away with a pair of boots that look great, but also stand the test of time In fact, most of my Torrid boots have lasted numerous winters! Above is just a very, very small look at the ginormous collection Torrid has to offer. Ps, there’s a sale on boots right now, too! You don’t want to miss out on this, you guys!
Happy Thursday, my dears! I thought I’d share a more casual look on the blog today, since I tend to overlook my “just throw something on” outfits. If you watch my Youtube channel, you’ll recognize this sweater from a recent Old Navy haul that I did. If you haven’t (go watch!), let me tell you about how comfortable and soft this sweater is. I’ve basically been living in it since I brought it home with me. Right now, its actually on sale at Old Navy as well!
