Happy Friday, dolls! I have been obsessively wearing my brand new Fashion Nova plus size jeans for weeks now. You’d never guess that I wasn’t a jeans girls before getting my greedy little hands on these beauties. Fashion Nova plus size jeans are some of thee best jeans I’ve ever put on my body. They fit me like a glove and hit me just where I like. The best part? Probably the fact they have what seems like an endless amount of stretch. I cannot deal with plus size jeans that dig into my sides, or plus size jeans that have no movement to them.
Isn’t this GS LOVE crochet top the most precious thing you ever did see? I could not stop myself from grabbing it in a recent GS LOVE haul. Full disclosure, GS LOVE did send me this piece to review.
If you didn’t know, I had a cat named Daisy for most of my life. It has been 4 long years since she passed and I truly miss her every day. Since then, I find it hard to resist anything with daisies on it because I’m reminded of her. Somehow, it makes me feel closer to my Daisy. As a very last minute decision, I threw on a sparkly pink cat eared headband and unintentionally solidified the Daisy tribute.
Recently, I was able to make the mint gingham skirt of my dreams come true thanks to CowCow. I’ve had a long standing love affair with gingham, which I highly doubt will subside anytime soon. My body and closet are absolutely ready for the gingham trend to cycle its way back into fashion.
If you didn’t also know, I made an entire vide dedicated to customizing your own clothing on CowCow, which can be found here. Unfortunately, this exact skirt isn’t available for purchase but you can go on over to CowCow and make your very own. The possibilities are endless, and I think I might head on over to CowCow right after this post to customize more!
I’ve been on a bit of a PinkBlush plus size kick lately. If you are unfamiliar with PinkBlush, they’re an online maternity store that also offers plus sizes. As an apple shape (aka a large belly), this is a dream come true. Finding clothing that appropriately falls over my belly is a bit of a struggle, even in the plus size clothing market.
I understand for some of you, purchasing from a maternity store seems a little, well, embarrassing. I get it, I’ve been there myself. Maternity clothing has a bit of a stigma around it too. Frumpy, unfashionable clothing that mom’s to be have to settle for. Not so with Pink Blush! If you don’t believe me, take a look for yourself..
I’m a little late to the plus size wrap dress party, but now that I’m here, I’m never leaving. Wrap dresses and I never quite got along. I tried many times through the years to love them, but something always just seemed off. Thanks to a friend of mine, I realized I had been doing it wrong all these years. She carefully guided and showed me the proper way to put on a plus size wrap dress. Voila, suddenly, I was in love!
I have had my eye on Unique Vintage plus size for awhile now. In my past, I have purchased an item or two and have cherished them ever since. Among them are some of my favourite, most complimented pieces. Recently, Unique Vintage sent over a few pieces from their in house plus size line. Since I’ve already explained how much of a fan I am, I don’t think I need to tell you how excited I am about this opportunity. But before I go further, I want to thank Unique Vintage so much. What a dream come true for me and a major milestone in my blogging career!
