Every blogger has a dream store to work with and one of mine has been Torrid. From the very moment I decided to give blogging a go, I knew I wanted to work with them someday. My dreams became reality just over a month ago when they reached out and asked to work with me. Torrid has been a front-runner in plus size fashion since as far back as I can remember. Offering trendy plus size clothing long before other more well known stores took that risk. I remember my older sister making a trip out to Buffalo and picking me up an adorable pink knit cardigan from Torrid. That was the first time I knew cute, trendy clothing even came in my size and it changed my whole perspective.
I apologize for such a late in the evening post but I landed only a few hours ago from my trip to Boston. I’m still a bit groggy and very ready for bed but I couldn’t go to sleep knowing I was missing yet another content day. But enough about my day, let’s talk about the clothes. Here we have yet another CowCow piece and this time its a skirt. Everyone always talks about CowCow dresses but we seldom see anyone talk about their other pieces. At first, I overlooked their skirts but I was intrigued after watching a video of someone hauling one. I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about their printed pattern plaid (that’s a bit of a tongue twister) but I’m actually pretty keen on it. The fabric, albeit not my favourite, flows and moves so pretty that I can’t be too mad. Don’t quote me on this just yet because its subject to change but, I think their skirts might be me favourite garments they make. It fits the way I want, it moves the way I like and its cheap in a way I can afford. What more could a femme ask for?
Hi loves – here’s a very quick and kind of old OoTD for you. I had intentions for something entirely different today but my memory card, with all of my stored photos and videos, is basically destroyed at this point. I’m sad but I’m happy I had these saved on my computer already. This outfit is totally out of my norm but its something I’d wear again, without a doubt. Everything, right down to my hair and the lip colour, came out exactly how I imagined in my head. Don’t you love it when that happens?
